A Boutique Retreat in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, UK
3 Night Retreat: Friday, November 15 to Monday November 18th
Arrival Friday at 4 PM | Depart Monday at 2 PM
Supported by Secret Warriors
This 4-Day interactive workshop uniquely combines the human story, well-being strategies, ancient wisdom, ceremony, and ritual to provide a self-care package that will 100% reset your autonomic nervous system! Guaranteed, you will leave with increased calm, creativity, compassion, and connection with yourSelf and others.
Participants will understand the power of their mind to heal and to create the future they are striving for as they learn about the properties of the quantum field. They will be invited to consider linear time as an illusion. Quantum space as an interconnecting ocean of energy that informs us how to create dynamic flow.
Through Paula’s narrative and processes, participants will feel inspired and motivated by their possibilities of increased awe, flow, opportunities, synchronicities, and abundance. She will draw from her 2020 memoir, A Mother’s Courage to Awaken and her 2024 book, 24-7 Flow, Thrive Around the Clock as she creatively weaves her personal story and passion for the science of consciousness, arts and medicine and shamanic practices into the retreat.
Joining Paula is Karen Mellers, whose healing journey has resulted in her deep knowledge and inspirational work as an emotional wellness coach, circle facilitator, and natural wellness expert. Karen’s passion for natural wellness comes from her journey of healing of over 40 years.
Karen joins as a circle co-facilitator and wellness expert bringing with her many years working with Weleda UK, once leading a team of over 700 (mostly female) ‘Wellbeing Advisors’.
Paula thanks Karen and Secret Warriors for inviting her to share her work and wisdom through their UK based retreat business to enable women to benefit from this transformative space at Broughton.
Embark on a journey of self-discovery and renewal at our Paths of Self-Care: Harnessing Quantum Flow for Well-Being, nestled in the tranquil beauty of Broughton Estates in the Yorkshire Dales. Through guided shamanic practices and immersive experiences, we’ll lead you on a transformative voyage between worlds, where profound insights and healing unfold. Reconnect with lost aspects of yourself and surrender to the nurturing embrace of Mother Earth as you delve into the principles of this unified field of wonder.
We are offering our Paths of Self-Care retreat because we know that today’s demands of daily life are hijacking our heart and soul’s desires, keeping them hidden, buried under the to-do list and worrying. Self-care, for many, does not feel like an option – creating unprecedented levels of stress and burnout.
At the same time, research in the new sciences, e.g. quantum physics, positive psychology and neuroscience is showing us easy ways to reset our nervous system and new perceptions of the world that are uplifting, life-affirming, and feel like personal truth for so many.
We also understand the power of safe containers, deep listening, and working with the sacred, at the level of the energetics – to transmute and release one’s past.
This is all possible as you remove yourself from daily demands, surround yourself in natural beauty, allow yourself to be guided to a place of inner calm and deep relaxation from which healing can flourish, with guided journeys, healing circles, sound healings, soft movement, and sacred ceremony.
We Await You!

Surrounding the historic Broughton Hall are formal gardens studded with statues, ponds, parterres and fountains offering a glimpse of 18th century fashion all set against contemporary architecture making the location a truly unique experience. Karen Mellers is a wellness consultant, nutritionist, intuitive emotional resilience coach, circle facilitator, retreat facilitator and co-founder of several natural wellness businesses that are a result of her collaborative work with other women business founders and CEO’s. Karen’s passion for natural wellness comes from her own journey of healing of over 40 years. She was diagnosed with a severe spinal curve at the age of 14 and now has the determination and passion to share with others the knowledge, help and support she has received from many experienced teachers in caring for her physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. This journey has been led by her unwavering priority of self-care and discovery of self-love, pealing back the layers of personal and societal conditioning and making her way back home to her true self and authentic core. She describes herself as still learning to stay courageous and act from her heart as she puts her unique expression of life into the world.
Karen met Paula at Broughton Hall in Feb 2024, where she lived for 5 weeks after selling her family home of 21 years to start living and working nomadically. Karen felt an instant alignment between Paula’s work and her own and the relationship quickly deepened into a trusting, safe space for collaboration.
Prior to this Karen joined her friend and teacher, Joey Walters in setting up a new business container for their company Rising Connected Ltd and was Director of Community Programmes, bringing her passion, vision and a wealth of strategic experience to initiate a programme of Circle Leader trainings. She is a founding member and circle leader in the Rising Connected community.
Before this and until recently Karen worked with Weleda UK, for over 12 years where she founded and led a team of over 700 (mostly female) ‘Wellbeing Advisors’ who deliver Wellness Consultations within their communities.
Karen is also the co-owner of Secret Warriors with her dear friend Ange Terry, a Derbyshire based wellness retreat business running tailored retreats to help people feel stronger, happier, and healthier. She has over 9 years’ experience in creating and running Wellness Retreats across the UK and in Spain.
